What you send
You can enter a listing URL, listing text, VIN, or basic vehicle details. When a check needs it, VIN and vehicle fields go to the relevant public NHTSA endpoints.
What stays in this browser
The current report is kept in session storage so the report route can load. My Deals stores saved vehicle details in this browser's local storage.
Analytics
Car Verdict sends anonymous funnel event names and limited safe properties to Google Analytics 4. It does not send the full VIN, listing URL, listing text, seller contact details, seller message content, or uploaded files.
Delete local data
Remove cars one at a time in My Deals. To clear everything, use your browser's site-data controls for Car Verdict.
